"The homes I love most are the ones that tell a story — warm, layered, lived-in spaces that happen to be beautifully designed."

Outside the studio, I'm a mother of three — which means I design with real life very much in mind. I know what it's like to want a home that's beautiful and still able to handle the wonderful chaos of family life.
I moved to Sydney's Northern Beaches because I fell in love with this part of the world — its light, its nature, the way people live here. That sense of place informs everything I design.
My French background gives me a particular approach to interiors — a love of natural materials, considered proportions, and spaces that feel quietly luxurious without trying too hard. I bring that sensibility to every project, whether it's a single room in Manly or a full home in the Hunter Valley.
Let's Work TogetherSeven years as an environmental engineer gave me a deep understanding of how spaces function — not just how they look. I learned to read plans, understand structural constraints, and think systematically about the relationship between space, materials, and people. That conscience never left me, and I'm dedicated to using sustainable materials and eco-conscious practices in every project.
My family and I moved to Sydney — a leap into the unknown that changed everything. Discovering the Northern Beaches, its extraordinary light and relaxed way of living, completely reshaped how I thought about interiors. It was here that the idea of creating my own design practice started to take shape.
Between welcoming new additions to our family and launching my studio, these years were a beautiful juggle. I took the leap, building Claire VH Interiors from our kitchen table — starting with small residential projects that confirmed what I already knew: design that truly reflects the people who live in it is the only kind worth doing.
An opportunity to deepen my skills in high-volume commercial and residential interiors. Two years working at scale in Sydney — offices, retail, hospitality — sharpened my spatial planning, budget management, and ability to make quick, decisive design choices under real constraints. An invaluable experience that I bring to every project today.
Following my husband's career, we moved to Dubai — where I relaunched Claire VH Interiors with an international perspective. Working across Dubai and Europe expanded my design vocabulary and deepened my understanding of how different cultures, climates, and lifestyles shape the way people want to feel at home.
We're back on the Northern Beaches — this time to stay. I formalised my Australian credentials with a Diploma from the Sydney Design School and relaunched Claire VH Interiors with fresh energy, new ideas, and years of international experience behind me. A new chapter bringing my French sensibility to Australian homes and businesses.
